Lydney Christmas Switch-on!

The 3rd of December saw Lydney’s Christmas Parade leave Hams Road Car Park; marching through Newerne Street, Hill Street and High Street, arriving at the Town Hall for the eagerly awaited switch on of the Christmas Lights.

Father Christmas was at the Town Hall alongwith various displays by local groups and organisations. Despite the rain a large number of people turned out and it was a memorable evening.

On the 4th of December Naas Lane Community Centre played host to 15 stalls selling art and crafts, which were ideal Christmas presents.
