The Lydney Festival
The festival of music, arts and sports takes place in Lydney each summer. The first festival took place in 2003 throughout the month of July. Events are held indoors and outdoors, catering for varied tastes including classical music, African music, jazz and blues. Previous years have included a teddybear’s picnic for the youngsters and a green energy event featuring the school children’s ‘Energy Scrap-heap Challenge’.
