The Docks Partnership has been inactive since the Big Lottery (Living Landmarks) bid and would be strengthened by wider community representation to support a application to the Local Action Group development of the Docks.
Current members are, Bill Hobman, Val Hobman, Derek Biddle and Rob Miller (Environment Agency). Kevin Barker from Lydney Yacht Club has now joined the group and James Bevan has been appointed as the District Council Observer. Peter Adams from Dean Forest Railway, John Powell, a former member, representatives from English Heritage, Angela Presdee from Gloucestershire County Council, Waterways Board and a representative from Friends of Purton Hulks have also been invited to join.
